Thought he defended well for most of that - Mitoma will beat anyone a couple of times in a game - but needed help from his manager as the game went on. Patterson should have been on for either him or Harrison.

It does puzzle me that he's an automatic starter, though hopefully that's not the case for too much longer.

Thought he shouldn’t have started today, but did ok for much of the match, but by no means should he be a given starter ahead of Patterson by any stretch.

Two things dyche got wrong today - starting him then failing to sub him soon enough when he was blowing out of his behind.

Might do a job for 15-20 mins a game, but sadly, dyche has moved his Keane obsession to young it seems, so he will be starting.

Ashley Young did a very good job but began to tire. The warning signs were there for all to see except Dyche must have had blinkers on. Last 15 mins should have seen Patterson replace him or Harrison. Maybe Young could have moved forward into Harrisons position but defensively Young became tired and vunerable. Not Youngs fault but Dyches fault

If Coleman had been a week ahead in his recovery I think Dyche would have subbed Young with 25 minutes to go.

For me its obvious he has no faith in Patterson to keep concentrating and aware of what's around him. He;s always letting a player ghost in around the back. So I partially understand Dyche not subbing Young.

He should have brought Young off with half an hour to go against Burnley when the match was won. If he had then Young doesn't run out of gas today.

By playing a hero like Patterson :D

I'd have subbed Harrison and had Patterson ahead of Young or vice versa. He did it on Wednesday, so not sure why he didn't want to do it today.

You mean like how Young let his player ghost bye him and volley into the net?

He'll defo start against Palace. There's not even a question about that.

Let's just hope Coleman is on the bench.
