…even at 0-2 I got the impression Villa didn’t panic, they believed they’d still win.

Last season when we scored first we could generally keep the opposition out, that’s a big concern. Posters will again vent on Keane but wide defensive areas is a major concern and after a transfer window, Young simply shouldn’t be a starter. Tarkowski’s form is also poor.

If Branthwaite doesn’t make a huge difference we are a dire defensive unit after being so good last season.

Last time it was Dyche not reading what was coming, this week I'm not sure that can even be levelled at him, nor the effort and energy of the players.

Yes, we know Michael Keane is a dope, yes we know DCL poos his pants 1 on 1, but those last two goals have me convinced more than ever that we're simply just cursed.
Starting Keane was the problem though

Villa are the better team, good side.

In all honesty we had chances to win that at least get a point.

First goal bad defending, second set up by a deflection third - what can you say.

Collection of the above = result.
Don’t expect good luck when you’re constantly on the back foot

When the ball starts to come back repeatedly and without us being able to break the pattern it feels so inevitable

We invite so much pressure because we think defensive shape is everything and we get ground down eventually

When we somehow managed to find ourselves two up I was screaming for him.to bring O'Brien on and go with the three, obviously Keane starting would not be brought off,too much of an admission he got it wrong again though for Dyche,brings him on after the horse has bolted at 2-2,to be honest they deserved the win,cut us wide open down the flanks on numerous occasions,good goal and header by Calvert lewin but him and Watkins are chalk and cheese as slotters,any proper club would sack this fella tonight but we won't,we will listen to the media saying what a fine job he is doing under trying resources and how honoured we should be to have him, I'm sorry but other than the spurs game,his selections,game management, substitutions have now cost us nine points,he has lost me,I think the fella is insane and he is driving me totally to insanity too!!!

Dyche is at fault here.

1) starting Young at RB;
2) starting Keane;
3) refusing to bring a RB on to play at RB when Young shifted to LB;
4) trying to sit back and defend a lead with Keane on the field.

All of these are unforgivable. Sean, thank you for keeping us up the last couple seasons but if Sarri, Allegri, Potter, Kovac or someone similar is interested in coming in then it's time for you to go.
As someone very happy to blame Dyche, this one can't be levelled at him.

I did like your shortlist though, it reminded me of when I smoked a lot of crack too

That what happens when you know you’re playing a team more likely to crumble than one of Aunt Bessie’s puds.

All comments saying unlucky is nonsense. We looked half beaten 2-0 up. They pressed with 3/4 men every time. While gave up posession cheaply and ran to our own box to wait for the next attack / shot.
Serious mentality problems within the team. Don’t think putting Garner in rb helped either, didn’t look comfortable at all. Dyche obviously doesn’t trust Dixon

We shouldn’t have really been winning and deservedly lost. But when you’re 2-0 up and get the chances DCL had, we should seen that through. Defensively so poor
He went round the keeper for the first. He had beaten him. The fact he hasnt got eyes in the back of his head means he didnt see the defender coming. One off the bar possibly should have scored but he was under pressure and not even sure the defender didnt get a touch. He was excellent today. Non so blind as them that can see. Can only see us getting better going forward when Ndiaye and Jesper get fit. Thank Christ we didnt sell Branthwaite.
