That game was all about getting as many as possible some mins on the pitch. I think it's the only game that really doesn't matter whatsoever!

Not bad for a first game, theyve played a lot more than us, football was good, of course bit rust, Duffy looked quite slow and his passing is awful, but it will come. Plenty of positives to take from the match.

Not at all worried about the result, but some of the defending and defensive organisation looked worryingly Wigan-esque...

Hopefully it's just a function of having quite a few missing.

It was just down to them playing crap. I very much doubt the defensive mindset has changed in one game.

We are always rubbish when not firing 100%.

I thought Browning played well. Didnt look out of place anyway.

It was a good work out for the boys against a good side who are miles advanced in their season preparations.

Didn't see any of the streams but Robles sounds like a very decent acquisition.

Not too sure on robles tbh hasnt looked great this game know its only pre season and the teams ****e but still

Kept us in the game on a few occasions mate, he wasn't all that bad.

A lot of young ens on show and for a first pre season game trying new methods and learning to keep hold of the ball and play out from the back, it wasn't too bad. Yes we had some sloppy moments and trying to keep the ball will take some adjusting to for some of are players but in time we will be fine I think.

You could see that they were further on in pre season than us but once we get all the first team squad back and fit and after 3-4 games we should start seeing the fruits of Martinez's labour!. It is always going to be a time thing when it comes to fully functioning under the ways of how Martinez wants us to play the game and go about things, look at the sh!te, it took them a full season under Rodgers and there not fully with it yet, but there were signs of it last season, it's all a matter of time.

We'll improve, no doubts about it.
