Transfer Rumour Axel Witsel

Well the Esk has obviously been very close to this story from the beginning so should know.

I have a sneaky feeling he'll come here though...

Thd other targets, however, I reckon we're nowhere close to any of them.

I think the everyone including the esk and probably the player himself have no clue what is happening with where he will end up. It has changed on a daily basis. The player and agent should have the best idea but obviously haven't made up their minds yet. He must have a couple of options but the most likely situation is he is waiting for most likely a champions league club with big wages that might come in yet. (See I even have tried now!!)

I wish journalists would do some basic research into stories before publishing them. The quote was from Alain Goblet who is Witsel's financial advisor (also happens to be Lukaku's financial advisor) not his footballing agent, Mondial.

I found more of the quotes from Goblet, and the (poor Google) translation suggested Witsel is massively frustrated by it all and hopes clubs don't start dropping out as a result.

God knows how he ended up with so many people "representing" him, but it can't be particularly beneficial. I don't think the Juve interest is genuine, and I'd imagine Everton are on the verge of calling it quits so he's going to end up a long way off what he might have hoped.

You have any idea if we are ready to pull the plug or is it still a waiting game

We've got one of our contacts in Russia now working on Witsel to get this over the line.

Don't understand this. He is a grown adult and has no clue of appointing people as representative?? Or did he sign 10 power attorney to 10 different people. I am lost here.

His advisors are claiming that 'faux' agents, advisors are trying to flog him to other clubs.

Such a load of rubbish, even if what he's saying was true, which it isn't, there's no reason why he shouldn't have made his decision already and decided which club he will move to.

I wish we'd just move on to another target and let him sign for someone else on less money, so he ends up regretting messing us around while trying to get other clubs to come in.
