"Everton fans can expect smart, modern and importantly, unique kits next season.”

im sure umbro will make great kit for us! New beautiful padge too. Cant wait to see it.

That word again.

Martinez has pioneered the usage of this. It has the cache of his positivity on it.

I bet Myers has advised Umbro's press release. He'll know the trigger words for the Pavlovian response.

Quite liked the 2nd/3rd Nike kits we've had. Absolutely love the black collared one from last year & this years blue/yellow. Maybe I'll buy a home kit next year, because Nike's efforts have been absolutely vile

well when is the kit going to be unveiled/leaked as listening to martinez at the end of the video he seems to have already have seen it.

I'd prefer Nike, cause they made some belter stuff. But there can't be any of this 'Wont be seen dead in Le Coq/Umbro gear, so they won't get my money', cause we don't get the money anyway, and as a result, i couldn't care... if the Whispers of our 1995 black-blue combo turns out to be correct, i'll be happy man, cause those shirts were bloody great, as werre the socks and shorts.

to anyone over 16 all that should matter regards kit deals is how much cash it'll provide our manager to spend on the squad. strange that they havent announced what the deal is worth.

It'll definitely be designed already. Doubt we will see it until May though at the earliest, officially at least.

I agree with those who say it doesnt matter what brand we're with as long as we get paid better but Wont we be getting the same amount of money as usual because of this bloody kitbag deal, its pathetic.

I wonder how much the club scoured the globe for a partner? Did they talk to US and Asian brands desperate for the chance to get their brand out into the world market?

First of all, what are these great Asian kit manufacturers you speak of?

Secondly, why do people find it so hard to believe that the deal we have got from Umbro is the best deal that we could have gotten?

Forget all this fancy talk about other clubs getting this and that.

You only have to look at how disrespected the club is by BBC/ITV/Sky/BT Sports, in terms of how our 'challenge for 4th' is dismissed out of hand. Coupled with continuous newspaper stories of constantly being told that 'EFC player X is on his way to a big club'.

We get constantly disrespected by the media, so what makes people think kit manufacturers are going to be falling all over themselves to offer us massive money in the same way they offer massive money to the media darlings?

Unless we get a Sheik billionaire and magically turn into a Man City/Chelsea, we will never be seen as sexy. Plus we don't have a Geordie-like reputation for buying replica kits in massive numbers, we never have had.

There comes a point when you have to stop pointing fingers at the club and claiming the deals being made aren't good enough as a result of negligence on the club's commercial department and start looking at the bigger picture.

Kit deals aren't about how many kits you sell. They are about getting the brand known.

Under Armor (who?) pay Spurs £10m a year because they want you to pay £60 for a pair of their trainers that cost them £5 to make.

I refuse to believe that in an era when every other similar club are bringing in huge amounts in commercial deals we are uniquely unattractive.

Hopefully this will herald a return to kits that don't have daft sleeves

Personally I wouldn't mind something like this but with a white collar

The Kitbag deal that means no shop in Ireland has EFC material on sale is ridiculous... especially when the shirts from just about every other EPL team are on display.

Not easy to increase club profile over here when the club is invisible in the sports shops.
