Baines is an ace player, a top man and a brilliant professional. Out of the two of them, he's not the one with the long history of spewing aural faeces out of his mouth.

...dunno why, but the very idea of that tickled me rather.

Besides, he'd somehow manage to dance his way out and say he'd gained a lot of positives from his time locked in said khazi, adding that he genuinely now feels that he's 'not far away' from him progressing and never being locked in a khazi again.

Honestly, the man would see the good in a bit of dog-dirt if pressed.

To be fair, this is a lot of link-bait crap out there - this certainly isn't one of them.

Likes of here and other smaller fan sites also don't benefit from increased traffic so the motive isn't there. Example, no front page update last week in over a week. Server revenue to accommodate traffic (particularly spike traffic) typically exceeds GA income. We'll also get more hits on the forum inside the next few minutes than any article will ever get so to allege we'd compromise the integrity of the website, and carry fake/inflated quotes for a few poxy hits is ridiculous and insulting @ilikecheese . I also don't want to be associated with the endless crap out there, all the link bait on newsnow is why we created EvertonAlerts...

Fair play mate. I guess some of us just think the headline is a bit negative and misleading.

The ROM stuff - as insightful as it was - was curiously put to bed at the time with certain outlets via suggestion that he has an 'attitude' etc and was simply'gobbing off', something which he was allegedly prone to do. Never quite got that off him meself like....he's a VERY bright and ambitious kid and I've never really seen him as a boat-rocker...

The RM presser should be interesting this week though, rightly, he'll deflect stuff relating to the above, but it'll be interesting to see how he conducts himself. Without sounding overly dramatic I feel he's genuinely starting to look like the pressure's getting to him, seems a tad flustered at times and not as fluid with the waffle.

Problem for me mate i think he will deflect it completely - something along the lines of "it shows baines is a great competitor in a great moment of form, and a phenomenal attitude to winning".

I feel like Martinez is trolling everyone now with his pressers - no-one can surely say all that and be serious and sane.

Its a shame its come to this nice bloke, but he is getting more clueless as the weeks go by.
