Beer, revisited

Heading to Dublin later today so I will be having a pint of Guinness on O'Connell Street this afternoon. Then on to Toronto tomorrow, so new beers to sample.

Have a great trip!

Toronto will try to nudge you into Mill Street Organic. It's a trap! It's just like Bud light/impure-water-not-even-dirty-enough-to-be-offensive, only branded to suit hipsters and yuppies who don't actually like beer.

You can do the Steamwhistle tour, right next to the baseball field, if you like that sort of thing. It's a respectable if unspectacular pilsner. Lots of Ontario craft beer these days. Creemore is good, Muskoka is good if you like strong IPAs, which is all anyone drinks in North America as of 5 years ago. Camerons, Wellington, Neustadt - all decent stuff.

^this place is cozy, close to all the downtown hotels, and has a huge selection

Seconded. Absurd. Most my favorite beers - virtually any American IPA and a lot of good Pale Ales clock in above that mark. My fave go-to beer when tailgating/watching the game, Dale's Pale Ale, clocks in at 6.5%.

Good choice on Dales Pale Ale very good beer.
