We should have it in just over a month. The legal people are doing their stuff, Currently I’m sorting out a myriad of operational issues that need to be addressed, including what beers we will sell, etc. Should be a good Christmas......

I'm sick of the proliferation of IPAS and Pale Ales. Well, got that of my chest, beers consumed recently :

I'm partial to a stout, and this ticked all the boxes.

Drank it as quickly as possible ; horrible taste.

Haven't had any beers before from Rock The Boat Crosby. My kind of bitter, not too bittery, if that's a word. Always a good selection in the Lion (Moorfields).

The Ship is always guaranteed to have at least one on, so during the winter months I'll always pop in before we play at home.

From experience, the back room is much warmer that the front where you often need to wear a coat; in the back, it's more than comfortable in a jumper!

Some stouts can be a bit strong and heavy, not this one, lovely was this Russian stout.

For a pale ale, this wasn't bad either.

Hawks Head is lovely stuff, one of my favourites when in the Lakes.

The Titanic beer range is good too.
