He's not a centre back from what I've seen of him. More suited to a defensive mid role

They were my first thoughts on seeing him.

Tha being said, I think at Norwich there just isn't the "protection" around him. For us he will liekly have 1 of Keane/MIna with him, Digne and Coleman either side, Allan/Doucoure/Delph in front. It will make it much easier for him.

What do you think on Fofana? You guys are really going for it this season!

Yeah you may be right. I've been living in Norfolk for a few years now so keep an eye on Norwich a fair bit. As you say he's a lot more exposed at Norwich than he might be at Everton.

As for Fofana I have to admit I don't know much about him. Saint Ettiene fans seem to be gutted that he's leaving for that kind of money which is always encouraging to see. Seems to be rated more highly than that Saliba who's gone to Arsenal. He's only 19 though so I fully expect Soyuncu and Evans to be first choice pairing

Norwich sort of remind me of Martinez, probably more at Wigan than here. We had good players but they just weren't given the protection. If we would have stuck a yard dog, no nonsense CB next to him, he'd have looked a million dollars. We messed about too much.

He looks a good mover to me, 6 ft 1 but powerful and quick. He has PL experience too, which I suppose is always a big tick.

Whats turned around for Leicester btw? I thought you might have "gone" under Rodgers after last seasons collapse, but you're looking very strong early doors this season.

Yeah they're strange club a s they don't actually perform that well but always seem to have a handful of valuable players. (Maddison, Aarons, Godfrey etc)

I don't know what's going on with us. I have to admit I'd lost faith in him with our terrible form since December but on the face of it he seems to have addressed a fair few issues. I still don't think we have the strength in depth to really improve on last season, especially with the adde d schedule of the Europa league games.
We have some serious talent in that first 11 though. Tielemans in particular looks absolutely class!

This has to be a wind-up. Mina made six headed clearances in the penalty area against Palace,
a top statistic. He is in the prime of his career and is a hard [Poor language removed], the type champion teams need.
Godfrey is an entirely different player.
We need 4 good CBs and at the minute we have 2 fit. No way we sell Mina

If I were Godfrey I would go to Newcastle before EFC. Mina and Kean are shoe-ins for the
centre back roles. Then comes Holgate and next year Gibson is back having conquered hearts and minds at Reading. The following year Brainthwaite is lined up for a role.

And remember Mina might surprise us all and stick it out for two or three tears more.

The thing is though, Newcastle is a sideways step. Like Norwich, they are a small yoyo club.
