Yeah that's the one! It was a decent boozer that, as well. Sad news - but common these days.

It's the people inside that make a great pub. I'd tell people...had a great night at the....... and get - you don't go there do you. eg The Noah's Ark.

There were so many in Liverpool and I've been in plenty of them but in reality not even 5%. But still that many I can't remember half of them. I will read on and have my memory jogged.

Depends what you're after doesn't it.

They're both cheap and cheerful and noticeably cheaper than everywhere else in town, I know that attracts some special types but if you just want a quiet pint and you're feeling the pinch, The Blob is fine.

I like the Excelsior because of the actual bar itself.
