It's not as black and white as that.

You CAN want the board gone AND retain discipline and focus so as to not help hurtle the club over the cliff edge into the Championship.

When the history of this and last season come to be written there'll be some people who will look back on their time and - if they're at all honest - will be ashamed of what they contributed to this mess.

This isn't just a potential catastrophe made buy the owner and board, it was also concocted by the people who gave them unqualified support when the appalling waste of spending occured and managerial culling that got us here happened - things that they pushed for....the same people now who are agitating for more disruption in the teeth of a relegation campaign no doubt.

I've always said there's blame enough to go round here. The honest amongst the fans will hold their hands up and admit that they along with the club hierarchy contributed to this mess.

I don’t agree at all. The fans saved this club, they haven’t contributed at all. The only thing the fans did wrong was not ramp up the protests last summer and fell for Lampard’s “let’s take the positivity into next season” crap. The Palace game let them all off the hook and it shouldn’t have been allowed to happen.

She'll be first out the door , he's just started the first steps of throwing her under the bus....despicable.
He shouldn’t have invited her onto the board in the first place, they deserve each other, she’s worked her way up to this appointment and accepted these promotions without any credentials to do the job she finally finished up with, hopefully Everton are finished with her.

Total lack of self awareness from Kenwright in his open letter, root of our ills. Not sure what letter was about, maybe him being chairman of Everton FC. Certainly not in the first instance about Everton FC. The very foundation that got him Everton FC.

Every time protest is suggested there are lots of people saying its the wrong time. Even last summer during the OFF SEASON there were people saying it was the wrong time.

The right time was a long time ago. The wrong thing to do is to do nothing. There is no debate on this point anymore, everyone knows the owner board and chairman have failed.

I honestly couldn't care less about who runs certain groups and movements. I dont need a movement, a fan group or someone on twitter to tell me that Moshiri Kenwright and the board have ran the club horrendously. I can make my mind up myself. I dont honestly care in the slightest if there are other agendas at play either - you'd find that in any walk of life.

The club will never move forward until we get changes at the top. Anyone still arguing against that point is not looking out for the club.

Awww, poor Bill.

If only there was something he could do to remove himself from all this self-induced pressure.
I think come the end of the season he will be gone tbh, reading that thing he knows his time is up, he can't come to games anymore as there would literally be a riot. He is just lashing out and trying to have a parting swipe and is still trying to hide behind others (DBB this time)

Out walking the dog gives you time to ponder all kinds of topics
So ponder I have done, and I'm pleased at Bill's uttering because now maybe for the first time, the wider public will see what an absolute tool the fella is.
In the recent past I've told those around me what we're having to tolerate but they scarcely believe me. Now the tit has broken cover in an effort to portray himself as the victim finally others will see him for what he is.

Its an interesting take mate and id be very open minded about your suspicions - the approach of Alltogehternow has been odd (not targeting the owner), unwieldly and often undermining and as seen this week- with the bringin up of health grounds, they are crossing the Rubicon in terms of appropriate protest- to my mind its possible you may be right that there are other forces with other interests at play - as said bringing up health ground is an immediate black listing for me.

To my mind there is an absolute middle ground that only a (growing number) a few are inhabiting, you can be critical of the owner and board on the governance and administrations of the club and want change and equally valid is having suspicions, being critical of approach about and its impact and being appalled by behavior like using personal ill health grounds against a man you are protesting about in a professional capacity by alltogehternow - however poorly the person in question has fulfilled that role.

When it gets down to that - no one wins - fans being accused of assaults and board members private medical history's being targeted and used in public to create leverage - no perspective - all would watch Rome burn and check the ashes for bodies - then wonder where we are all going to live. All away from where the absolute focus and energy should be and that at Selhurt Park today and the fight for our lives. Institution is being dragged through the mud.
It's the oddest fan movement I've seen - and I've seen a lot. It gives the impression of being organic but to me it's a BS front for something or someone.

The dead give away for me is their refusal to demand that Moshiri goes. That suggests to me they dont want to alienate a man who others have to deal with. So they go for the soft target of Kenwright and DBB instead - two utter balloons with zero real power to affect anything.

As you say, this is unforgivable at a time like now when we face an existential threat. I will never forgive these people if we dont survive. In my mind they will be just as infamous as Kenwright and Moshiri.

This is all very sad and doesn’t reflect at all well on our grand old football club.

I agree, someone somewhere needs to take Bill out of the firing line and make this all stop.

The man’s obviously not very well.
If the club was being run properly, Kenwright would have had a veil drawn over him and been shuffled off with a veneer of dignity intact rather than being allowed to descend like a pig in muck spreading all manner of effluent all over the image of the club and himself.

I'm sure horrible things have been said about him. This is indefensible but also inevitable given the world we now live in. The club should have seen this coming and removed him from the fray. That he has chosen to respond publicly shows that these comments and protests have touched a very raw nerve and he has decided to weaponise below the belt stuff to his advantage. Why? Because he has nothing else left in the arsenal.

All of this was predictable. I have no sympathy for him. He should have gone before provoking this vile situation. If he has been wronged on some level, that's nothing compared to how he has wronged the fanbase as custodian of this club - and it is on him that he now remains here to suffer the backsplatter of his own reckless, self-serving, and venal mismangement of this club.

I think the very fact he's typically throwing others under the proverbial bus proves he has zero intention of moving on.

Only death will part this club from Kenwright in his eyes.

Shame it will be the clubs death first.

I'm not talking about the fans per se....as you well know.

Do you also mean the players and coaching staff ? Cos I would.
