Boxing

Wlad was actually a top notch boxer. People forget that as he was coached to be more one-dimensional by Steward to protect his chin. He took the Lennox jab and grab approach (another very talented, but chinny, heavyweight champ). Both Wlad and Lennox became much more conservative under Steward, and didn't show off their arsenals to the same degree.

The guy AJ reminds me most is Big Frank. They were both good, but robotic, and didn't seem to have fighter's instincts when in the trenches. Povetkin was good, but not an amazing natural athlete like Usyk.

Some people say that AJ was wrong to slim down for this fight, but there is a good chance he will just be even easier for Usyk to dismantle is he is less mobile.

Lennox chinning? Knock that crap off. He was dropped by 2 punches in his entire career. He took sledgehammers off people.

Youtube the brings or mercer fight and tell me he was chinny

Well I didn't Wlad wasn't, I'm literally saying Klitschkos win over the povetkin is possible the blueprint for beating Uysk, for a guy his size and the skill to pull it off.
Not sure if AJ can, we might see if he takes the rematch

That fight was a lot closer and some rounds were very even. You could argue output was more, but wasn’t landing much, you could say Joshua was backing him up but then Usyk would land a shot that would swing it in his favour. Different of opinions. Different ways of scoring a fight.

Also go back to my posts few week back about this fight when said Usyk is a nightmare for Joshua style wise. Was shocked so many people were saying it would be an easy Joshua win due to been the bigger man. Was surprised Joshua was such a favourite.

You clearly made a casual comment by saying Parker done Ruiz when majority of people thought Ruiz won.
Stick to watching the Vikings lad.

It was a fantastic watch
Brilliant mate, one of the best I’ve seen for a while.

Was always a massive fan of Usyk since the AMs, what he’s done since turning pro in sensational. I fancied Gassiev to do him and he schooled him, to be honest I thought Joshua might have too much physicality for him and he absolutely schooled him.

Took on the best of the best all on the road in such a short space of time, absolutely unbelievable fighter.

I’m exactly with you , I was at bellew usyk and enjoyed the fight but thought in fact was confident Joshua’s physicality would prove too much late on but it was a fantastic display . Taking nothing away from the champion but Joshua was also very very lacklustre, I’ve no Clue what his plan was .

Lennox did not have a good jaw. The fact he was able to develop a way to fight around this speaks to his greatness.

He wasn’t as much of a glass jaw as Wlad, but Steward built his style to protect him from getting caught again. Lennox was the whole package, but that chin was the chink in his armour.

The debate about the quality of Lewis’s jaw is one that’s gone on for decades , personally tend to land on the side of his issue being with concentration above anything else but for me regardless of your position to call him chinny feels frankly a bit ridiculous.
