Boxing

The problem is, if he beats him, he won't be able to move on and get climbing, Cleverly will want a rubber match.
with no titles there won't be any rematch clauses, if one ices the other, they will leave them behind and move on to a title fight, the only way a third fight happens is if it's very close and that's were the money is, but personally I don't see an immediate rematch after one guy has the bragging rights and hearns has promised the winner a title fight

Do you think if Bellew wins this and goes on to a title fight and wins that, that one of his defences of it will actually be at Goodison? I've heard him mention before that it would be a dream of his to defend it at GP.

Id back Huck to beat both Bellew or Cleverly, legitimately too.

Iv gone for Bellew ko/tko at 11/4, have to say I'm looking forward to the card in Macau more than the one in Liverpool.

It's a myth that people get robbed in Germany, there's been more robberies over here in recent years than there has been anywhere else.

People kicked off about Paul Smith against Abraham and though the very wide scorecards were unfair, pretty much no one in the press, British, German or neutral, had Smith winning. It's hardly a robbery when the right guy wins.

Huck would beat Bellew and Cleverly for my money, guy is a baddass.

Agree with all of that!

it will be intresting to see how he handles that hiding Kovalev gave him, when he comes under pressure, he did himself no favours in that fight agaist a good boxer.
A lot of these fighters can go downhill after one like that, chad dawson for instance looked something special then Boom, its all gone downhill.
I honestly dont have a clue who will win on saturday, Cleverly has a high workrate and speed if it goes to points can see him nicking it,
Bellew can box better than he is given credit for and hits harder,if he is in for one of his good nights and dosnt let the pressure get to him, could end it with one explosive punch or flurry of them if cleverlys not what he was before his hiding.
I want Bellew to win so i might be letting that cloud my judgement, Bellew to Ko him mid rounds.

don't forget bellew's defeat to Stevenson was pretty horrific too.

Think Bellew has acted like a bit of a prat in the build up to this, even again today at the weigh in, throwing his water carrier into the crowd, I mean, who the fook would want that. I dont really buy the "its to promote the ppv event" argument, he was the same if not worse in Canada, he was lucky Stevenson didn't take him out before they got to the ring. Sometimes you have to act with a bit of class, his behaviour in Canada was embarrassing.

Does anyone know exactly why he "hates" Cleverly, he just seems to rant on not really giving an explanation for it, they were hugging after the first fight and it'll be interesting to see if its like that again tomorrow.

Anyway, I hope Tony wins, but my god if he was a red.....

Germany has long been a disgrace for both referee's and judges, you get plenty of home town, home promoter decisions in the UK for sure, but there is not a chance in hell britain is worse than germany

Bellew is a fighter with limited ability. The reason he gets the fights he does is because he is 'box office'. Those who support him will pay to watch (that goes without saying) but also those who hate him because of his antics will pay to hopefully see him get knocked out. Tyson Fury plays this game as did Haye in his day.
