I'm not sure on Galloway seems a bit weak for me, certainly don't get hype on here.

Koeman thinks Oviedo can do a better job as understudy of Baines. Plus Galloway could only play 3 league games so far for West Brom. Can he really step up next season? A loan to a Championship side in January is ideal. He needs gametime to improve as a player.

What a waste of a loan. I know the player has to take responsibility for impressing the manager, but Pulis has a recent history of not playing loan players (Serge Gnabry and Alex Pritchard). Makes you wonder if he wanted him in the first place.

He's a weird one for loans...Gnabry capped for Germany a year after he was frozen out at WBA.

Amazed at @The Esk comment in the echo about Galloway, he's only 20 and easily looked premier league quality last season. In the England u21 squad every time and left sided who can cover 3 positions (DM/LB/LCB),no way should we consider selling him.

May have improved from Pulis strict defensive training even if he isnt playing and can come back to us fresh.

Think he might come good. Certainly feel he is a better option than Bryan. Seems a case pullis doesn't fancy him, then again , other players don't seem to get game time while on loan e.g. Ross.
Would imagine there are a few reasons why a loan doesn't work out both on and off the field.

His comments regarding Galloway struck with me as well because although he's not playing regularly, we've previously seen many positives.

Also to be fair, with the defensive rigidity Pulis likes to play then I expected it would be difficult for a young player to get regular game time.

Certainly not proven that he'll consistently be good enough to play for Everton, but on the other hand I wouldn't consider selling him yet.
