You said it's a reflection on how poor others have played, well if they've been so poor how come we came through that period unbeaten after winning 75% of the games? What would you consider good performances?

more like good team efforts than any players standing out, at least not on a regular basis.
and im not saying the rest of the team has been poor, just not standing out.

He was player of the month easily - but watch Baines walk back in when fit! - even if he is performing just as well if not even better!
I would be tempted to play Baines in midfield TBH with Galloway behind him a good left sided combination maybe?

I havent said anyone was better. Just saying that I dont think he was spectacular. So him getting chosen for player of the month just tells something about that the rest of the team hasnt been anything special.

Baines is still a much better player imo. And very much so in contributing to the attack. So I would have Baines in when fit.

So you weren't impressed that a 19 year old lad with less than a dozen top flight games under his belt, whilst playing out of position managed to keep Pedro, Ayew and Berahino (some of the best right sided attackers in the league) out of the game while also offering a great attacking threat going forward isn't an impressive achievement?

This is the last time I am going to say this... I have not said that any of our other players has stood out more. I just dont think he has been fantastic. It's more like many of our players has been doing good rather than great. Galloway too has done good. There has been no one that has been consistently putting in great performances this month. Thats what I'm saying.

I'm starting to rip out my hair here. I'm not saying he shouldnt have gotten it, I just think that says something about that no one has stood out this month. Cause I dont think Galloway has been spectacular.

Baines has got to start when he's back and fit. Galloway ain't even really a LB but has been doing a good job. Baines offers more going forward to o and we miss his attacking threat.
