I would have a winger, playing left wing, just cos the utter Coco we have in charge plays Naismith there, doesnt mean the only other option is Baines, so the answer to the question, "Would you rather have Baines on the left or Naismith? " is Kevin Mirallas.

Not me you are arguing with RM who mentioned many times Baines has the ability to become a midfielder,, I do advocate to try it as square pegs in round holes seem a theme in our team, maybe at home only one defensive midfielder is needed- mr perfect poster as you are!

Who ever is on form! Naismith or Kone are not midfielders or wingers!

Haha...I certainly ain't perfect Joey. But I've seen you use that term around here from time to time, and what you are suggesting is exactly that. Why would we want to move our best LB to midfield? RM's suggestion was to move him to a DM role BTW...not in the creative role you are suggesting.

I agree your not perfect! Even as a defensive midfielder Baines when fit has speed - he can beat a man - and can cross the ball noted for many assists- your so negative in your remarks!
 

I was amazed when reading the recent Echo article to see he only cost us £150,000 when we bought him last summer. That's almost embarrassing for someone with his talent even then . I hope MK Dons had some top ups inserted in the agreement. I think we need a separate song for Brendan , along the Seamus Coleman lines!

Agree. He is a CB playing on the left and is clearly not comfortable in an attacking position. Really missed Baines in this game. I fully expect Baines and Garbutt to man that position next year with Galloway playing in his true position and really starring there.
