He was great today. Fantastic goal and a good assist. What more needs to be said? He's earned a start against Man Utd.

On another note, he has got to be the fastest in squad, probably one of the fastest in the league. He made Deulofeu look like a snail.

Not sure what Deulofeu you've been watching tbh mate, Oviedo is fast but there's no contest between those two pace wise.

I must say, there were even moments last year when Bry would come on at the end of matches and absolutely blaze by people. Now, we weren't the side then that we are now, but I can remember him being our fastest player away to Newcastle and his home start vs Norwich.

I don't reckon he's that fast, just has good acceleration and ridiculous cadence. Deulofeu would smoke him. Still one of the fastest members of the squad, though. Be a good full back 100m race between him, Baines and Coleman.
 
I was merely expecting him to do alright today and show he wasn't as bad as some of the people in this thread were suggesting

Even I wasn't expecting him to have such a good game, but there he goes and delivers like the consummate pro he is

Needs a run of games, which he will get now.

Good player, Same age as Baines when he first arrived, he will be our future LB and he'll do a good job.

Top pro. Had a really good game today.

Just needs to be given time to establish himself

Come on Mikey, he played well but one 'good tackle' isn't much to shout about for a full back.
