Apparently Man City lease them their old training ground for free and they’ve still pissed it all up the wall. So people have tried to help. Not sure how much truth is in that though.

End of the day if the owners are that bad they don’t deserve to get bailed out. Awful for the fans but life is hard like.

But surely if he's directing and responsible for a club that's bankrupt then he should be accountable.

I wont pretend I know the ins and outs of all this, nor the legal/company law thats involved. But it seems he hasnt put any money in. And as he took the debts on, in a pure window dressing way, he has been paid a lot of money via the CVA.

I may be wrong, but he seems to be a complete rat.

This must be absolutely hertbreaking for fans of that club. I can't even begin to imagine how broken up I'd be if we were in this position. Sad times.
Seen some great ex-Everton players play for them back in the day.

Shambles what is happening and the authorities can help, should they choose to do so.
Gary and Phil Neville could save them short term, if they wanted to. Local lads and all that.
Not obliged to. But Bury FC employed their old man and effectively paid their school fees!
I could walk to Bury from my house as well, mind you it would take me about a week and a half like.

Guardian reporting Steve Dale was on Talksport this morning asking fans to put their hands in their pockets to save the club.

That is some serious front.

MP's and Andy Burnham are requesting an extension till next week, which they might get
Any other business and this would be denied, as it still might be. But football seems to think it’s an important part of the fabric of society and therefore a special case. It’s a disaster for Bury FC fans, but the chickens are finally coming home to roost for football in this country.

I'm not sure this has anything to do with the state of football in England as much as it does with the FA's fit and proper person test not being worth a damn and owners asset stripping clubs.
