He didn’t choose us over Arsenal. Arsenal went for Arteta instead and they appear to have chosen right. They’ve at least got an FA Cup win to look back on.

I imagine he would but whether he stumbles on to it or not is anyone's guess. It would probably be easier to have one to start that way we can recruit the players needed for it to work. We just kind of scattergun at targets and make what we can out of what ends up here which to me feels like it can easily go sideways.

That means little to me when it comes to this football club mate. We are jobs for the boys fc - Doris the tea lady could be "well thought of" "part of the furniture" etc yet her coffee may not be upto scratch.

I would rather a no2 who's got years of experience in either Davide or Duncs place on the coaching bench.

Brands and Big Dunc have been here and oversaw numerous seasons of mediocrity therefore if we are pointing the blame at the usual suspects in the squad who have underperformed for a number of years then they also have to be liable for the blame.

The assistant manager often doesn't do anything. It doesn't matter. It isn't like we're going to get Pep in to work under Carlo. It is Carlo's team and his decisions.

I mean he's well thought of in football, not just Everton, mate.

Who is buying the players though? Seems like a mixture. I agree we need a strategy but I genuinely think he would stick to one if he trusted this team. He doesn't. These players have failed a few managers now he isn't the only one. It's also not just quality but mentality. Weak mentalities through the club.

Well this is the crux of the issue, too.

But again, players passing to each other - that shouldn't be hard to implement. Neither should at least something resembling a press.

I dont really see how it was Keanes fault. I've seen people saying this but I dont get it. The player ran directly behind Godfrey who for some reason tried to push up. I'm still confused what he was trying to do. It was a basic channel ball and he should have been goal side or at least far tighter.

Its such a soft goal even going back to DCL losing the ball on halfway.

You do realise Davide has his coaching badges right? He isn't there for the sake of it

Personally, I'd have just pushed Holgate into midfield, and gone to a four. Give some extra legs and kept James on for 5-10 mins more to get his foot on the ball and just keep things in control for us.

We don't know Coleman was fine.
He might not have been. Every thing is tracked now. He might have been showing signs and needed to come.
It was mentioned that James looked to come off .
That's the thing about subs. Unless you' are directly involved and see the data and know things like that it is impossible to say whether a player should be taken off or not
