Some magnificent RAWKING in here tonight. ‘It’s not where you finish, it’s how many times you could say if spurs and Leicester both lose tonight and we win our 2 games in hand, we’ll only be 5 points off 5th’.
Never expected them to stay in hiding after a few wins.theyre out the beds theyve wiped away the tears got out theyre keyboards and logged on to grand old team. didnt even read 1 page in this thread an had the same opinion.

So Keane can hang with Jags. Dom is better than Yakubu?

Is there a correlation between staying in Urine soaked bed sheets for weeks on end and brain damage?

But it's still a good away record for a season? Weird flex there, Pat.

Just people have banged on about it like we've played well in those games - we have in some, haven't in a lot of others.

I take little joy in our away form really; albeit maybe at the moment because I'm still so angry with them. Because it's such a weird season. I do think we'd played alright on occasion and have at least found a way that works which is good. Nothing really to build on though because I can't see that same way of playing working with full grounds (or even half-full).

Whereas, the way we've played at home isn't just bad, it's genuinely horrific. Teams have walked through us. The one home game we've won in 2021, was the one we've played how we do away and just snatched an early goal and ended up holding on.

I just think it's properly awful and expected a lot more after 18 months. I definitely didn't expect him to be sat in a presser saying "I'm not a magician"

Jagielka was miles better for us than Keane, but whether he’s actually much better as a footballer is probably debatable. If DCL has another season like this one he’ll be seen as better than Yakubu. I’d take both the oldies like, but it’s not a mad comparison.

Didn't bother reading all that but 11 away wins in 18 games so far is good so you’re being weird suggesting it’s not just because Leeds have won 10.

Happens doesnt it? We didnt win the league once upon a time cos we dropped 4 points against Carlisle.

Christ knows what their XG was.
Six points mate!! Lost at home 3-2 after leading 2-0!!!
Wiped the floor with us 3-0 at their place when we had one hand on the trophy! This year’s fade away is nothing compared with that season. And no, I am still not over it!!!!
That said, anyone slagging us off for throwing things away this season is well within their rights to get stuck in IMO. So much good work thrown away.

I meant joy in our performances. They offer nothing to build on, unless we think next season we can rock up at every ground and camp on the edge of our own box.

Okay, our away record is very good. But there's plenty of teams that have won plenty of games away from home this season, was my point. I'd argue a fair chunk of those teams have done so in a way which is probably more sustainable than ours.

Trust you mate to bring that nightmare of nightmare seasons up again, and no,I am not over it either!!! ;) lol

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahshahshahahhahahahahahahahaha

He isn't a bad manager at all.

If he could replicate what he's implemented at Brighton with better attackers, then in theory, that team would be very good.

I know footy is not played in theory, but imagine if we play City on Sunday and they got a man sent off after 10. Can you imagine us ending up with 19 shots and 63 per cent possession? Brighton have just done that.

They have also conceded less goals from open play in the league this year than any other side apart from City, mate.

Their issues have been a lack of a cutting edge. But would not be surprised to see Potter end up with a big move (Spurs level etc), if he carries it on. He may not do, like.

Thank you.

And plenty of other teams have very good away records too this season. So yeah, well done us, but i worry the reason for our away form being so good isn't sustainable. Whereas our home performances just show a complete and utter lack of a plan. Let's hope that changes tomorrow.
