Take the good bits! Some of the away performances have been superb ,I can only hope a more dynamic forward line and a midfielder who can cover spaces Allan and Doucoure leave behind and we can really push on,it will be diff next season with near enough full capacity stadia ,and I thought the players in the second half last night responded well to that, the order of the summer is tonnes of pace and mobility in that midfield and at right back
Sorry mate but you're wrong. Some of our away results have been superb but the performances have been consistently average. When we win its because we nick a goal and grind out results. We never dominate the opposition or put them to the sword by scoring a few goals.

The last win that wasn't 1-0 was the derby. What you've described is genuinely the entire set of ways we can win at the minute.

Not wrong sorry ,Leicester won the league having 40-45% posesssion ,those away wins are blueprints, how many wins at anfield at arsenal at spurs can you count last 20 years nothing ,those wins have been won by having a strong defensive solidity and winning games on the counter and using our main strengths, free kicks and corners, with better players we can hurt more teams on the counter attack and get more goals

Defensive solidity and winning games on the counter is a small club mentality.

Our Record against the bottom half, especially at home, is horrendous. Guess why because they use the exact same blueprint. They let us have the ball and rely on defensive solidity and counter-attacks.

If we want to compete for trophies then we have to accept the responsibility of dominating possession and having the quality to break teams down.

In the mid 80's we didn't look to be solid and counter-attack. We looked to get on the ball and dominate. Carlo is an old school Italian coach who believes in keeping what he starts the match with and hoping for a moment of brilliance.

Bringing up Ranieri is interesting because he is another old school Italian coach who has had more clubs than Rory McIlroy. When you have the master of defensive coaches in Mourinho getting binned off because it doesn't work any more why are we playing so negatively.

Ranieri won the League but got sacked soon after. That is what happens to negative coaches. They are just about bearable when they win things.

I agree. What we need is a breath of fresh air. An innovative coach full of modern tactical innovation. A coach not scared to try hitherto unimagined formations or football philosophy.

We need a born winner. A David Moyes. A Sam Allardyce. An Eddie Howe. A Graham Potter. A Marco Silva.

Nil satis nisi optimum my friend.

So your last paragraph

Thats what happens to negative coaches, they win the league and get sacked lol lol lol

Well guess what mate, I'll take any coach who wins the league, gets sacked, new coach, wins the league, gets sacked, new coach, wins league l, gets sacked

I'm sure Ranieri was just about "bearable" for winning the league

YOU MASSIVE BULB HEAD lol

The slight issue is that Carlo wins a League title every six or seven years but in recent history gets sacked after less than two years. He also only wins League titles when he manages dominant sides.

We desperately need a manager capable of building a side the way Howard did in the 80's.

Carlo takes teams backwards and then gets sacked.

But It doesn’t just happen to negative coaches though. Pretty much every coach gets binned off eventually whether they’re negative or not. He’ll leave us at some point, let’s just see how it goes.

Great points mate so the options are

Give Carlo 6/7 years and we'll win the league
Or find the next Howard Kendall who will build a side to win the league (which will take 6/7years)

Great plan bro and I agreee with both options
