One of the most under rated things about getting married is not having to try and charm other women. It's so relaxing having no interest in other women. Sure I look but it's more akin to going into an art gallery to look at the exhibits - look only, no touching, let alone think about picking one up.

One of my best mates missus did was carrying on with the builder who was doing their kitchen, whilst he was having chemo for throat cancer ( doesn`t get lower than that in my eyes )

He only found out when his mum ( who`s a wily old fox ) happened to walk into the bogs of a restaurant they where all in and caught her on the phone to him.

She denied it, but his mum was having none of it and tipped off my mate.

After accessing her phone and finding all kinds on it, he set up a fake chemo session and parked somewhere out of sight, leaving to two of them on her own in the house. He gave it half an hour and let himself in, catching them on the couch in the front room ( clothed ).

The builder managed to leg it out of the back and into his van, leaving behind a half finished kitchen and all his tools ( which he never got back )

My mate comes from a family that is quite " connected " and the builder was paid a visit and " spoken too ".

At the divorce proceedings, the court quite rightly took the side of my mate and he did very well out of his divorce settlement, which was made even better for him, by the fact his ex missus was caught out lying about assets that she had tried to hide.

By this point she was talking about marriage a lot and I mean A LOT. She was trying to get all her friends and family to pressure me in to it but the problem was my divorce had been horrendous. That's when things when drastically down hill. Instead of trying to show how much she loved me and that we would be together forever, my girlfriend cheated on me. I found out on the first day of a family holiday abroad with her Mum, Dad, 2 brothers and sister-in-law. She spent the entire day mesasging on her phone and made no effort to diguise that she was hiding her screen from anyone seeing it. When she had a shower later that day I looked at the messages and saw hundreds of texts confirming everything. I took the phone to the pool, threw it to the bottom and sat and sunbathed until she came looking for it. Let's just say poop hit the fan big time and the holiday was ruined. I was tempted to fly home early but instead spent the next 13 days making sure she had the worst time possible. 3 times I waited until she'd spent over an our getting ready to go out for a meal with her family then pushed her in the pool. Twice I poured an entire container of salt over her dinner just as it was put in front of her. 3 times I got up early and took out daughter out for the entire day without telling her where we were going then the day before we were due to fly home I hid her passport and didn't give it back until 3 hours before the flight. I was so tempted to let her get stranded in Portugal. As soon as we got home she moved in to the spare room for a few months until she bought her own house and moved out.
Luckily it is the one and only time I have knowingly been cheated on and I have never done it to anyone else. It's not worth the hassle and if I'm not happy in a relationship I just leave. Hopefully I'll never have to do that again and I'm very happy with the one I'm in now, 4 years in to my second marriage.

One question in all of this, how the hell did she keep walking with you near the pool? After the first time would have been enough but the 2nd?! Fair play for ramping it up a level, I doubt I would be able to care that much to attempt it.

She had to walk past the pool to get from the villa to the car. I was disappointed I only managed it 3 times in 13 days tbh.

Another mates wife was messing about with his workmate.
Both couples lived close and were friends, nothing else.
Anyway, my mate found out, went ape,of course.
But ironically his parents knew, and said nothing, until the story broke,so to speak.
His parents thought all four of them were into swapping .

that’s the problem with the corporate ladder... what was previously colleagues playfully flirting all of a sudden becomes management harassment.. well done though.. lol.. have you moved city or just the work spot?
