Jesus, and to think we paid around £20m for him, we'll be lucky to get half of that back.

Hes sitting on a lounger somewhere hot as we speak, with a list of his transfers on a table next to him, whenever he feels a bit down he reaches for the book and utterly creases himself looking at the figures.

We had zero pace to stretch them. Didn't help that Richarlison wasn't central, either, but the amount of chances we get from Walcott bursting forward in that right channel is outrageous.
It's what got us the win against Cardiff. Lookman didn't do it, and that's why Walcott is the preferred option. Yes, he could be upgraded, but for now he's a key part of the squad.

Reminds me of a Turkish Sandro.
He scored five important goals last season when there was little else being offered, so for that I am grateful; he's also shown to be a 'relatively' capable finisher.
Nevertheless, the current system doesn't suit his style of play and nor do he look the happiest player, which I expect will have a negative impact on his player.
If we're able to recap all or most (more likely to be 'some') of the fee and send him back to Turkey, then I don't think he'll be overly missed within the squad.
However, I'm far from comfortable with then relying on DCL and Niasse so if we can't find the right addition up front, then maybe we should keep him until July.
