But he's used to playing against all types of defence set ups mert.
Newcastle have had to resort to parking the bus as its their only chance of not shipping in 5 goals.

He and Siggy both wanna do the same job. They should never feature together. Cenk provides skill and finishing, but both need runners to be effective. I agree with Goat that it was one of Silva’s few tactical errors as of late.

He is decent enough to be a substitute but £28 million is a lot for a back up striker. I feel sorry for him because hus lack of pace means that we have to play a certain way for him to thrive and it doesn't suit the skill sets of most of our other players. Ultimately this situation was caused by the board being indecisive over Allardyce. If they had been certain they weren't keeping him they probably wouldn't have let him spend so much money on a player.
To be fair, we needed a Striker and The Mosh himself said he "scouted" him, so whilst it would be lovely to blame Big Sam, its unlikely he would have pushed for a player from Turkey, im sure Sam wanted Kevin Davies or someone.
Personally this rests with 5 star stevie.

Sam wanted him whilst at Palace by all accounts, although i do think the club jumped a bit because he had just been top scorer in the CL group stages(Mosh watched him against Monaco) some more research maybe should have been done, although BFS generally has a fairly good record in the transfer market over the years if you look at it, it's more the style of game he plays that is always the issue as we are all aware.

I just think if they had known Silva was coming in they might have asked him and he would probably have known he wouldn't suit his system. DCL is the right type of player just not good enough at the moment but Tosun will never suit a Silva team and so is only any use as a substitute if you want to mix it up a bit.
