For me explusion for the 6 clubs, end the PL now with top 4 sides remaining into next seasons CL and likewise further 3 into Europa League/Conference. No relegation from any league with the Championship/League 1 + 2 continuing until end of the season with top 6 sides from all 3 leagues being promoted to the league above.

This may have been addressed but surely this is absolutely horrendous for match going fans. Now I know the owners don't give a toss about them but how are they supposed to go to 15 away games in Europe a season? How many people can afford the money or time to do that?

Can imagine if Bayern and Leipzig do join, the rest of the teams would take pleasure in kicking them out as Leipzig are hated and Bayern arnt too far behind. Plus as its only 2 teams, wouldnt affect the league much - Probably make that league better

I don't think they would join because they're 50% fan owned. The investors can't make decisions without the fans input.

Yeah, this is football as TV spectacle now rather than sport imo. They'll be playing home games in Singapore, LA, Abu Dhabi etc soon enough

Problem is the “big 6” generate the majority of the cash for the Premier League from overseas TV rights. The Premier League would de-value themselves massively if they boot them out. And every other club left would take a massive hit which they might not be able to recover from.

This is it. It's the risk of the lack of regulation that's resulted in this. The game needs a reset, desperately. Top 4 and champions league is the holy grail for 99% of domestic clubs, these lot piss all over it. F em. Sling them out and restart. And let's remember city were irrelevant little over a decade ago, as were spurs, and chelsea/arsenal 20 years ago. Times change. They think they're bigger than English football let them go but they dont get to compete in English football competitions. See how that works out for them. To keep the game alive in the short term, redistribute the prize money and champions league money those clubs would have got back into the game.

They have easily broken UEFAs Statutes.

Article 49

UEFA shall have the sole jurisdiction to organise or abolish international competitions in Europe in which Member Associations and or their clubs participate.

Article 51

No combinations or alliances between UEFA Member Associations or between leagues or clubs affiliated, directly or indirectly to different UEFA Member Associations may be formed without the permission of UEFA.

There's also a whole section about recognising the statutes.

Article 59

Each Member Association shall include in its statutes a provision whereby it, its leagues, clubs, players and officials agree to respect at all times the Statutes, regulations and decisions of
UEFA, and to recognise the jurisdiction of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne (Switzerland), as provided in the present Statutes.

Each Member Association shall ensure that its leagues, clubs, players and officials acknowledge and accept these obligations.

Each participant in a UEFA competition shall, when registering its entry, confirm to UEFA in writing that it, its players and officials have acknowledged and accepted these obligations.

they don't plan on participating in the CL or Europa anymore anyways after this season, you are just doing them a favour with accelerating the process

I see no reason why this season cant be completed.

If its null and voided that means a massive revenue hit.

Still convinced this is just some major posturing because if it isn't some absolutely crazy decisions need to be made and fast. All six need to be disqualified from qualifying for Europe next season for STARTERS.
