Champions League revamp

15 clubs(not less than three quarters) so would take one of the six voting against themselves, They already have it good, yet want waaaay more, scummy.
I don’t think it means 15 clubs necessarily, maybe 3 quarters of those clubs able to vote on a situation, therefore not including these 6 teams.

Problem is the “big 6” generate the majority of the cash for the Premier League from overseas TV rights. The Premier League would de-value themselves massively if they boot them out. And every other club left would take a massive hit which they might not be able to recover from.

Don’t we already nearly spend around 80% of our turnover?

Points deductions and transfer embargoes. Problem solved.

If Arsenal go down to the championship...it's part of the rules of the game.

The clubs will be fine. This is thinking short. Football is football. It's been what it is for 150 years. New clubs will take their place and everything will be fine.

Unless you let them stay. Then they dominate forever. The decision is clear.

I'm not sure I understand. Their place in the English football pyramid has just become totally irrelevant. They'll play second string sides in the Premier League, assuming they're allowed to stay in it.
They simply can't be allowed to stay in it. There would be no integrity in the competition at all. The 6 want their money from both the PL and the super league, the gap to the rest of us would become infinitely wider. The champions league would be irrelevant in comparison to the super league, if it even continues at all. UEFA and the FA/PL cannot stand for it. I dont see how the players can either, the gems of these clubs, rashfords, kanes etc. How can they want to be a part of this knowing what it represents?

Spurs won't have any ambition beyond being paid, they won't actually want to compete, that would mean spending money. Same as Arsenal, their owner won't be funding any super league challenge. They'll be safe from being relegated and hoovering up the money for just being there.

That there lies the problem.

We all know that, there won’t be an appetite for fans to watch that, I wouldn’t be paying to watch that, and if it was Everton doing that, being mercenaries, then I wouldn’t be going to watch Everton again.

Tottenham fans must be fuming.

There will be another big 6. Spurs have been crap for a decade, Arsenal are no longer a force, Utd on the way down after Fergie and Liverpool were crap until Klopp arrived.

Teams rise and fall, always have and always will.

A pic of the trophy would be nice.

Hope it’s proper massive.
