I agree with most that this looks a bad idea but can we afford to be noble and pass it up knowing that other teams(Everton?) would gladly take our place? It doesn’t mean that we can’t influence the competition from within and it may evolve to be something more palatable to fans(or this may just be a bargaining ploy by the likes of manu and us for more media rights).
I just find it hilarious that Gary Neville and other English media are invoking YNWA(maybe in the hope that Liverpool fans will mobilise against this) when we have been denigrated and despised by the rest of the country for decades(but they want us to continue to subsidise their football teams).

Every other club has to agree not to sell them a single player.

Let the leagues boot them out immediately. They will hemorrhage cash with no tv appearances and having to still pay player contracts.

They can race to put together the infrastructure for their league then. I'd like to see all levels of government delay and prevent it from happening.

They think they can bully the entirety of European football and there has to be a response.

Because its filled with more Plastic than Katie Price

I don't see how they haven't burned their bridges here already.

They stand to make more money from the ESL than the Premier league so given the choice they will leave.

If they leave this devalues the league and tv rights.

So how can the Premier League actually enforce anything without this happening?

That's why I am saying they should have done with it now and leave these clubs scrambling to replace the revenue while they wait for this league to start up.

They won't be able to start it immediately and that's an opportunity for the league to show demand for the remaining teams TV rights and another to give them a kick on the arse out the door.

Tories all of them, in fact they’re that bad even the tories think they’ve been out toried and are calling it out.

Looking forward to the Premier Leagues statement later today. If they can’t boot them out this season at least points deductions and massive fines needs to be handed out.

Not just talking about Everton here but other clubs, like Aston Villa, Leicester, Leeds, etc have invested heavily to improve their teams and infrastructure on the basis of Premier League and the current UEFA structure.

Surely it can’t be legal for 12 clubs, 6 being from the same country, to essentially pull the rug on these clubs and potentially bankrupt them?

Embarrassing take.

Yes there's no doubt Everton/Farhad Moshiri would love to be invited, that doesn't mean we as fans would want it.

It's effectively the rich saying they rightfully earned it because they were having more success, so they want that money. But to get there, they have to play 14 other clubs every season.

At some point the filler clubs that make up the rest of the 12, are going to not like the way they are treated, just like the bottom clubs now get very little say. I wonder how long Daniel Levy will enjoy making up the numbers. It'll be like survivor, hope they all go and cannibalise themselves.
