Champions League revamp

Scrap the europa league and have one massive champions league, knock out format with home and away
It's more likely that they will expand the existing Champions League to make sure all of the breakawayclubs are in it every year. 8 clubs from England, 4 from Italy and Spain etc, with money distributed based on worldwide fan base and website clicks rather than on merit.

I think they should be banned from European comp for 2 years. An point deduction, see how big there fan bases are then when there in the championship
If the FA do what they’re threatening to do they simply won’t exist in any domestic league.
So this piece of £3.5b ‘seed grant’, will be their only source of competition revenue. They are also anticipating £4b from TV deals. So they’ll have to weigh up how that stacks up against the current model and how likely a success it will be.
Arsenal and particularly Spurs are deluded if they think Man U and The S***e won’t shaft them in due course for a bigger slice of revenue. Chelsea and City have owners willing to spend enough for them to be not bothered about how much they get, as I bet there’s no FFP for them to be concerned with.

What these teams are forgetting is that their large following is down to there success over years. A pecking order will reestablish here. There will be no international or domestic fans from other areas for the team that finish in the bottom half every year.
It’s a horrible situation and being led in the country by teams that wouldn’t even qualify in the top four this season

Apparently it contains FFP to ensure they don't have to spend much money on players and can siphon it off to the owners instead.

That's because most of them are foreign based fans who support through a tv subscription. Bluemoon is pretty much dead against it with many City fans saying they are done. I suspect most English fans would be against it whoever they support.
Unfortunately for the City fans, if you could see only one team moving location to better improve their franchise it's City. Do they really need 3 clubs within an hour of each other when other areas would take them on?

A pox on the scab 6 owners.

Sounds like fans of the majority of the clubs involved are appalled and have spoken out.
There will be a few who will be in favour, but they are more likely to be your prawn sandwich brigade as Roy Keane famously called them.

the way I see it, 15 clubs, 5 can be promoted or relegated to and from it, so now is the time to act and draw the line in the sand, slap immediate fines and point deductions on those who have joined as a warning to the other clubs as a deterrent.

Let them go play out their happy clappers league and see how superior they feel then when the whole of football turns their backs on them.

Its a real opportunity for UEFA and the relative leagues to make a statement.

you’re deluded if you think there will be any real action against them. They’ll secure a bigger part of the pot, ensure that the new status quo remains and none of the governing bodies will do a thing.

This is just capitalism and what should have been expected once football ceased to be a working class game.

I suggest you all move on tbh. Spend your weekends watching grass roots and save the money for something else.
