Champions League revamp

I've been a bit slow on this and haven't delved in too much.

So, based on my half arsed understanding...

Several clubs are permanent members. Others qualify? I assume this is based on league standing? So does that mean the champions league places become available for lower placed clubs? Or, it really isn't a champions league is it, by that definition!

The finances look interesting. Loans? Repayable based on success of the format. Ohhhh, seeing it tank could be fun.

Also, does this mean the champions league and Europa league are less lucrative?
Not several clubs, 15 out of 20. Then if you kiss their arses you're allowed in for 1 season before they kick you out again. They can never be relegated and they run the competition. It's basically the NFL.

Fan of Super League idea here.

Kinda boring to watch Sevilla, Porto and similar crap clubs in CL, when you know their limit is QF, SF if a miracle occurs. You know they're there just to participate and get a few extra mil to the budget, they're not there for actual competition.
Watching Bayern, PSG, and Dortmund isn’t bad though....

Another punishment suggestion for the PL (like they're reading lol)...

If the Scab 6 purchase players from the Super League, these players can't play in their domestic league.

If the Scab 6 want to purchase player from teams outside the Super League, a tax from the revenue they receive from the Super League is applied to the transfer fee (therefore increasing it) and filtered towards the domestic league/grass roots.

Would fill a gap with loss revenue of the league and TV money.

There are going to be 15 founding members who can never be relegated and will always qualify for the competition

The other 5 spots are up for grabs via some sort of qualifying system which has not been announced yet

Presumably the best of the rest in the other league will be involved in some qualifying tournament to join the actual super league

Here’s the best part

The clubs involved in the qualifying tournament will receive no money and it will go to the founding members instead

I’m done with football... it’s a disgrace and has been for quite a while.

Everton (thank god) still have the right values and are a beacon of light amidst all the greed and self centred behaviour on display from other clubs. Long may that continue.
Well said. Honestly wouldn't blame fans of the match fixers if they came over to support us after they have been abandoned and laughed at by the clubs they support.

LOL at Sky if they continue to use the term 'big 6' and exclusively use the badges/images of those clubs as part of their Premier League marketing.

It makes me cringe every time I see a 'Premier League' piece on Sky Sports which is a line up of the 'big 6' managers stood next to each other with their arms folded.

They're as much to blame for this as anyone.
