LOL at Sky if they continue to use the term 'big 6' and exclusively use the badges/images of those clubs as part of their Premier League marketing.

It makes me cringe every time I see a 'Premier League' piece on Sky Sports which is a line up of the 'big 6' managers stood next to each other with their arms folded.

They're as much to blame for this as anyone.

I’m done with football... it’s a disgrace and has been for quite a while.

Everton (thank god) still have the right values and are a beacon of light amidst all the greed and self centred behaviour on display from other clubs. Long may that continue.

I would say they're all preparing a joint statement at the moment. More impactful if they all do it together in solidarity and again puts the emphasis firmly on the greed of those other 6.

Rick Parry wanted this in the hope that the other 14 clubs would join the EFL.

As much as I'm not a huge fan of the man, Simon Jordan is adamant this is all just bargaining and brinkmanship and a deal will be reached between clubs and UEFA.

He's usually right on this sort of thing, and I tend to agree.

Totally incorrect. There will still be very good teams to compete against in the EPL. We would also have elite competition in Europe. I don't get your doomsday scenario.
In fact , the real doomsday scenario is if the EPL and UEFA bend over to accomodate the greedy scum.

The clubs forming that league are the drivers of football revenue. They will take with them a huge amount of the income potential. We will be on Championship levels of revenue.

dont worry mate, you can watch your local team and grab a pint in the pub like it's the 80s. no one stopping you from enjoying romantic football.

but for us with the distinguished taste, us that soothe something more refined than you common peasants can perceive, super league will do just fine

I suspect that Mr Moshiri and Usmanov would have jumped at the chance.

Until we get a statement of condemnation of this charade from the Everton hierarchy we won't know.

Not sure Bill or Baxendale would allow it.

Fan of Super League idea here.

Kinda boring to watch Sevilla, Porto and similar crap clubs in CL, when you know their limit is QF, SF if a miracle occurs. You know they're there just to participate and get a few extra mil to the budget, they're not there for actual competition.
