Champions League revamp

YOu could well be right - all I am saying is the chat in the last couple of hours is that these sanctions probably wont stand up in court because of competition law.

I suppose thats the point of the courts & why it will drag out.
But surely the same logic applies to the ESL in regards to the competition laws

The only way this can be solved is through relegation of those clubs. The big clubs lose money, it sends a massive message, player prices/wages would come down overall across europe and most leagues would become a more equal playing field. The only issue would be the TV Revenue, but it'd surely be in Skys interest for this to happen too? I couldn't see the new ESL being via Sky, more so Amazon Prime or its own subscription.

Ajax are said to be thinking their position over, the super league domain has a Dutch website but not one for Portugal or Belgium for example.
Anyone know why certain conutries have no teams, France and Germany for example? im sure its been mentioned in the thread but 200 pages is a lot to look through

So the business model is too anchor large debt loans based on future growth around a) a large Asian market were the majority population don't engage and those who do have a largely fickle approach to support. Buy knock off merchandise, will not be able to afford tickets and illegal stream matches.
B) an American market already sports saturated where the main attraction for fans engaged in European football is the history, tradition and culture. A population that is dissatisfied with the way American sports has been managed (profit driven self-cannabilism) and declining disposable income.
C) limited disaffected and agitated workforce and fanbase
D) in opposition to a larger competitive market with access to a vast talent pool which will require financial outlay to access
E) substantial indeterminable and continual legal costs just to begin with all without a safety net and surely the rival financial institutions servicing existing debt will need restitution based on existing structures before/ or with the Morgan loans.

Cerefin confirms, players who take part in super league will be banned from Euros and World Cup.
Can confirm nothing yet. It'll be a long drawn-out legal battle. Now it's just threats. Would like them to put out a press release release saying they'll ban clubs from all domestic and European competition though and follow through with it.
