A fella more famous for his beard than his football ability.

Reeks of KKK and Ar15s.
Alexi Lalas is a tool and I’m sure his employer Fox is warming up the checkbook to pay zillions of dollars for the Glory Hunter Plastic League television rights

I honestly wouldn't want fan ownership - good luck telling our owners to spend £500 million on BMD but lose over half their stake of the club in the process!
In our case, I know exactly what you are saying, but I keep being told it’s a long mortgage that the club is paying back. If that’s the case then we don’t need Morshi.
I don’t believe that for one second by thevway and we absolutely need his investment.
If the government get involved, the will have to make some changes. They talk about a regulator, but I wonder what powers they would have?

There is a flaw in that logic though. Most United fans i know barely watch them. Some of them don't even know the results the day after the game.

Obviously they wouldn't all watch but with only 20 million watching at £5 a game that's still £100 million per match !

That said the pricing might be scaled down in poorer regions in Asia etc

It was a good WC- was great to different teams come to the party. The world cups in the period of 98-2006 were peak football for me growing up.

Indeed, which is the point being made - anyone qualifying on merit (albeit some very strange rules in some areas of the world!)

North Korea at the WC was hilarious. I love how San Marino etc. get a chance every tournament to qualify. It's what makes football. The idea of 15 teams in a closed shop is abhorrent to everything football is. It's an attempt to franchise football NFL-style, which is why the 14 others have to take a stand in the EPL, because if they don't they're effectively sanctioning a project that aims to make them essentially not exist.

Did I watch a different interview or something?
I think you must have mate. The only way that interview wasn’t spineless was if they didn’t want to show their hand.

The thought of someone like Steve Parrish going up against these billionaires is a joke. He doesn’t operate at anywhere near the right level.

The fact that he appeared on MNF shows that.

I hope it does, I want rid of them now

Even though I hate what they stand for, I don’t agree.

It’s not fair on their club histories, the players and supporters that have gone before this current lot for over a century.

Football clubs are part of the national fabric. I’d prefer they were given massive fans, points deductions and a large dose of reality that finally bursts this bubble of greed and brings fairness back to football.
