I just can’t see it. This would be 7 European ties for each club in each of these groups, multiplied by however many times they play as it won’t be twice, plus knockouts. The only people that would do that would be die hard fans who wouldn’t support it anyway.

I’m not saying there’d be empty stadiums but there are far less fake fans than real fans in my eyes that would go to these games. I haven’t read a single proper footy fan today think this is a good idea.

My Brother didnt miss a European game 2 seasons ago.

And when "the fans" run out of money, that's when the customers step in.

People will pay to watch these games mate.

You can do away days in Europe for cheap enough of you're happy to have basic hotels and random flights with weird connections etc

But 3 or 4 a year is a lot different than 9 or 10 trips. Only very well off people could afford that and even if you can afford it, then how do you get all the time off work!

Yes I can see UEFA making very quick decisions because they have no real alternatives. They might feel they have to expel teams from this year's competition because this is a direct attack on them and their competitons.

Domestically this will run and run. There won't be any expulsions unless it's a very last resort and thats way down the line.

They have brought the game into enormous disrepute though so there must be consequences tomorrow to make a statement. What happens after that then I have no idea but I expect it to run a long time.

Thats not what it is, for the scabs, for the scabs its an attack on UEFA, sadly they haven't read the room at all and have been shown up for everything they are.

To so many Klopp is a hero and a man of integrity, somebody who really gets the club. Today they’ve lost their hero, and have been hit with a sobering reminder that neither he or the club who employs him care even one iota about Liverpool fans. Proper dark day this for that lot

Ive been going to Goodison for a long, long time, my kids have grown up and sadly even I have grown up, so I don't buy kits anymore, well, I will for my Grandson, but anyway, all I do most Seasons is buy 2 Season Tickets. What use I am to the club? They could replace me with 19 people who would take my place and each spend easily 200 quid a trip.

Our club needs the money still, or at least sees value in not driving customers away. At least I hope they do.
