Seriously dude, you haven't alf been talking bollox in your last few posts. Seem to just be arguing with people for the sake of it. Oneupmanship and all that. lol

They entered into an agreement to create a new unsanctioned competition without approval during a season which is blatently against the rules. Whether the competition has started yet is completely irrelevant. They clearly broke rule 9. ;)
They made a proposal for a new League.

Im not arguing with people for the sake of it, people are just angry and quoting rule 9 without even understanding the difference between intention and proposed, any lawyer worth his salt would have a field day.

But fair point, nobody is interested in a different POV on this matter.

Pass me that pitchfork and light my torch, we ride at dawn.

He’s not talking bollox at all.

The rule is referring to taking part or signing up to a competition taking place in that season. The Super League was an agreement in principle to begin as soon as was practical on an undetermined date, pending agreement of UEFA. That was in Perez’s own words.

They weren’t planning to play in May.

Ethically for sure the broke it Lob - but technically I dont think they did.

They havent played in the competition so that rules through one route; the clubs said they will seek permission of the PL and the PL said (today) they intend to vote down this request.

As I said earlier - throw the book at them, but rule 9 is going to cut it

They can't.

And hilariously 'Hendo' didn't even get the chance to be the hero.

Never underestimate Super Hendo.

Actual state of this.

If there is no punishment for this, I hope Everton completely blitz Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool in the summer transfer market by spending a fortune.

The league can’t complain about FFP if an actual attempt to kill the league goes unpunished.
This.
Alisher and Farhad, to all intents and purposes we have no debt given your joint benevolence. Go all out and sink all six of these MF’s. Go a step further and target them aggressively, who knows how financially vulnerable they are. Exploit it. They sure would.

Depends how you interpret the wording I guess. Technically they have entered an outlawed competition during a season if they signed up. The wording doesn’t suggest it has to be for the same season.

It seems to me like it's something that would ultimately be decided in a court room. My opinion is that a competition commences when legally binding documents are signed to form it, and not when the first ball is kicked. But I'm not a lawyer and I dont see it getting that far anyway.

I personally think they need to be punished as a point of principle, but we need a complete reform of football above all else.
