It's quite telling to see the different reactions from different countries.
Italy: No punishment. You can't sanction an idea.
Spain: Meh.
England: Disgusting greed - but don't punish the players.
Germany: Over our dead fuc*'ng bodies.
The "wink and nod" culture of Italy in full view. The apathy of Spain. The empty platitudes of England. The cast iron rules of Germany.
If it weren't for German fan culture, you'd all be speaking SuperLeague.
10 points? Don't you mean the title because they are historically the last team to have won it and the poor loves have been through so much trauma lately its the only way to cheer them up and keep them in the league....Have Liverpool been awarded 10 points for apologising yet?
The "one club league" you speak of has the highest attendances in world football. I'm an Evertonian living in Berlin. I can only give you my experience. German football culture pisses all over English fan culture. Fans here are treated with proper [Poor language removed] respect. In England, we've all seen how it is.I'm not sure a one club league like Germany is the shining example of how to do things. People are fast to look to the German model and heap praise on Bayern and Dortmund for not accepting yet Bayern are about to win their 9th title in a row. It's a better version of the SPL, Bayern go around hoovering up whatever talent that want from the league with little opposition.
Fast to praise German fan culture whilst they all sing loud, get pissed and then watch Bayern win everything.
plus three extra points for Virgil's injury.Have Liverpool been awarded 10 points for apologising yet?

Oh, and if Bayern were in England, they'd still be winning most years. They are simply better run. As long as English fans prioritise having the shiniest bling in their teams, they'll continue to pay through the nose for TV subscriptions and preposterous season tickets, and remain the cash cows they are viewed as by club owners.
What injury? When was this? What happened? Is he hurt badly? Which sod did it? Do the papers know? How can we help?plus three extra points for Virgil's injury.
They've also won the World Cup. And this is the thing: German football is FAR more about the pyramid. In England, the top of the pyramid is Manchester United. In Germany, it is the German national side. We've had 5 different clubs win the league in the past eight seasons, Germany have had ONE.
We still all ripping the head off it over the Bundesliga like?
This is from AS.
"The government contacted the English clubs in a call. We cannot legally prevent this competition, but we can approve a very tough tax on luxury and above all, thanks to Brexit, greatly complicate the procedures for residence permits for foreign footballers."

You could use the same argument regarding the club to make the situations you've outlined even more ridiculous. For example, if fans of a club rioted at a Champions League final leading to the deaths of multiple opposition fans why should the club be banned or otherwise punished? It would be the fault of the fans and how can the club be expected to control how they behave?Getting real sick of this "punish the individuals and not the fans" ok lets stop red cards cause you know a team with only 10 men is unfair on the fans because they have a lesser chance of winning the game..
Lets not punish the fans when a club breaks ffp rules cause you know its not fair the owners spent all that money..
Lets not punish the fans when a club goes bankrupt because of how poorly the owners have run the club..
Lets not punish the family of a murderer because by him going to prison is depriving the family of this person..
i could go on, where do you draw the line?
You can't separate the owners from the "club and fans" just because they have done something wrong yet on the other hand when the owners do good things.. as the Fifa President said.. you are either in or you are out..
Its pathetic
Said this when it was happening. Tax and player registration.
Won't happen now it's not happening like.
It's unbelievable.
The only – ONLY – reason the English clubs pulled out was because of government and FA threats.
To be fair, they all came out against it directly after it fell apartHave Liverpool been awarded 10 points for apologising yet?
