Yep, but that's the point. They didn't do it cause they changed their minds. They did it because they had no choice.

And they should be punished for that.

All depends what the PL say as they're being quiet at the moment.

But I think any real punishment would've happened if the thing went ahead, then gladly throw the book at them.

But it's dead. What's also dead is those clubs resentment of the format as it is and also the worry over champions league places.

It'll be interesting to see what these clubs do for next season in terms of transfers etc when the likes of Juve, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, RS not making the champions league next season.

All come out smelling of roses again and will get their money demands from UEFA in the CL... Becasue earning more than every other club in their league is not enough for them. They have to have more. They have to make sure the number makers in the league stay poor and never get a chance of breaking into the top 4 or get close.

I’m seriously fed up of them. Clubs like us would kill to be in the CL and be happy to get the amount of money the current clubs get. It’s all about greed and selfishness.

What’s the point of our league any more. 6 clubs who want everything for themselves and the number makers who are lucky to get close every blue moon. Whenever a club gets close the goal posts get moved and it becomes even harder. A joke. Honestly close to giving up on the sport.

The "one club league" you speak of has the highest attendances in world football. I'm an Evertonian living in Berlin. I can only give you my experience. German football culture pisses all over English fan culture. Fans here are treated with proper [Poor language removed] respect. In England, we've all seen how it is.

Oh, and if Bayern were in England, they'd still be winning most years. They are simply better run. As long as English fans prioritise having the shiniest bling in their teams, they'll continue to pay through the nose for TV subscriptions and preposterous season tickets, and remain the cash cows they are viewed as by club owners.

The point is as good as the German sytem is, as high as the attendances are, as well as the fans are treated and as amazing as the fan culture is the Bundesliga is dominated by a single club. A club that uses their own league as their personal Tinder app. Swiping right on whatever new player they feel like picking up on a free some time soon.

I'm not disagreeing with you that German football has a lot going for it but it's Bayern and everyone else.
