Champions League revamp

I hope that this what clubs hold on to.

It’s still wanted, it will still happen.... unless we stop it.

He’s a lunatic, but that’s the ammo, to shut these teams down once and for all.

Perez is correct tbf. They're saving football. What's ruining football is Everton spending 50mil on Richarlison.

edit:

DAZN are taking over boxing now with insane contracts. Only a matter of time before football ends up on that platform, you cant fight this kind of bottomless money.

Even more madness from Perez

The bit about the protests at the Bridge is still nuts.

Otherwise, it's reasonably lucid if you accept his premises - UEFA is a tradition-bound organization that is destroying football with its obstinance and resistance to modernization and deserves to be destroyed, the media is against us because their business will be impacted, and the solution to declining revenues is for the biggest teams to generate as much money as possible and let enough of it trickle down to the peons to appease them.

It shows an utter lack of understanding of the history of the English game and its cultural role in society. It forgets that the media is comprised of people who were fans before they were players and pundits. It fails to grasp that the reason these clubs are losing money is that, unlike the Bavarians, they don't run their clubs planning around a rainy day. It doesn't recognize that sneaking around behind your business partners' backs and making a deal that threatens their business IS an insult to them and then some, and that UEFA and La Liga chose to respond to a clear and present threat by fighting fire with fire.

It's clear enough that he and his ilk have to go for football to be 'saved' in the manner that we would prefer, and if it's true that he has the socios' backing then perhaps his club needs to go as well in order for that to happen.

They've pulled out, but I want to see some PUNISHMENT. And I think the punishment should fit the club.

City = Stripped of this season's league title and docked 30 points.
Liverpool = Stripped of last season's league title (back to zero, MFers!! hahaha!) and banned from Europe for five seasons (when WILL those blastards learn!?!?)
United = Travel bans imposed from Ireland, Wales, London and everywhere else infested with meffy manure fans. Solskjaer sacked and Andy Tate from FT Devils installed as manager
Chelsea = Forced into a tardis, sent back to the 80s where they played in front of a shed and a car park, getting physically murdered by second division trolls and earning ten bob a week.
Arsenal and Tottenham = Tar, feathers and stocks in Trafalgar Square, and laughed at for being so presumptuous as to consider themselves a club of equal stature to Real, AC or Barca.

Give the CL spots to teams that WANT them, and don't just take them for granted.

I tried to do one of them last night but got bored half way through hahaha

Here's my go

Perez live on TV (in spain) at the mo

Florentino: "I am sad and disappointed. 2-3 years working on this to help Spanish football. Champions League format is old and obsolete. Only interesting from quarters. So we thought of a format with the best clubs in Europe all season long
I mean. He's not necessarily wrong. But does he really not understand why it's not interesting until then? Because there are ramifications. The group stages are crap because they are designed to make sure the bigger teams get through. The 2 leg ties are there to make sure the bigger teams get through. It's only interesting if there is a chance at those teams to get knocked out.

The super League crap is basically the Champions League group stages. What's the point?

Mate DAZN paid up Canelo because they couldn't afford his contract at 30mil a fight for 10 fights they signed with him.

They're struggling to break the North American market.

That fella is loaded but DAZN as a company has a lot of work to do to meet growth projections.

Coleman and Co would turn over in their graves hearing that pal, Tyler could send a glass eye to sleep, unless he's talking about his beloved Liverpool of course.
I kept my positive opinion of Tyler short because it's not worth getting too elaborate. In the end it comes down to who you prefer and
we're not all the same.

Some I like and some I don't. For instance, I don't like Peter Drury because he often sounds like he swallowed a dictionary - doesn't keep it simple.

I've been surprised to hear over time that some say Tyler is a Liverpool supporter. I've listened carefully and I haven't spotted it, nor a bias to any other
club.

Incidentally, a few other commentators I like are Jim Beglin, Steven Warnock and Leon Osman amongst others.

I think Ossie is a crap pundit tbh. I like Cahill when he is on.

What happened to Kilbane? He wasn't bad.

When you say 12 rat clubs, you mean the parasitic owners.
No the poster in question means rat clubs. Our club has showed to the world what a classy institution we are. Class is something your shower lack in spades. No one can outdo you though, in the crassness and classless stakes. Don't you get it your club, will forever be reviled (it's reviled for other reasons as well like) for being a part of footballs dirty dozen. So spare us your pitiful cryarsing, and get back to RAWK. They are missing their village idiot after all.lol
