The 14 need to focus on rule changes in the days ahead. This is coming back again soon and some English clubs will be involved. Perez is brazen about it all but at least that should keep everyone alert.

Everything needs to be watertight. Anyone involved in any future unsanctioned breakaway is automatically expelled from the PL and start again in the bottom tier of the non league pyramid. Uefa need to make the most of this period to strengthen their rules too, although the 12 should all face temporary European bans as well.

Nah, what he's saying is that Madrid can't afford the deals otherwise. He's crying that the fossil fuel-backed clubs will get those players.

I mean, he's so egocentric as to honest-to-God believe that if Real Madrid cannot afford the biggest and best players the way they always have, then there must be something wrong with the game of football.

Meanwhile, Mbappe is house hunting in Madrid. It would be a real shame if he had to admit that he needed the Super League money to afford that signing.

I tend to agree that he is, in actual fact, lying, but I would be grinning ear-to-ear if he's not.

If the Super League happened, all that would mean is Haaland's value would double overnight.

It's a nonsense argument. Anyone with half a brain can see through it. So he's either insane, or trying Trumpian tactics... badly.

If I can't afford a dinner at Gordon Ramsay's I'll go in a cheaper restaurant. I won't go on tv crying because I can't eat that wellington steak.

Cant stand the little grunt and actually surprised he didnt trot out the not the fans fault so dont hurt them line.
The normally very affable Dion Dublin looked propper anoyed at the clubs too.
