All while getting 85% of tv money between two clubs

Not sure if that changed a few years ago where it was distributed among all clubs. I might be wrong on that.
But wasnt their wage bill last year sonething like £230m
Well half that and start paying your debts.

See on sky there saying that the 14 all want punishment on the 6
Even thought they tried to say they didn’t

I feel like the 14 do want punishment for the Insidious Six.

I also believe that the "it's not fair to punish the fans" is media driven (for whatever reason) to apply pressure on the Premier League to go lenient on them.

It'll be an absolute joke if they don't get a real punishment for what they tried to do.

it’s an absolute joke, but token fines and some rule changes for next time will be the extent

Completely agree re media and don’t punish the fans - back in greed mode after two nights on their moral high horse

I totally agree the only reason it didn’t go ahead is mainly because didn’t have sky. If they had sky as the broadcaster it would still be going ahead.
Sky allowed Neville to say what he felt and he started the outrage really

The ESL is not finished and if they are pushed too hard they may leave, taking a large part of tho PL sparkle with them.

I want something to be done, but I don’t want to do anyjtingbtgat ultimately harms ourselves.

We need legislation to stop it, then punish away.

Maybe the 14 did not (or where afraid to ?) at first but I think when they realised the depth of feeling amongst fans including the legacy fans they soon realised that the fans would not object to a heavy punishment
As more details come out ( 3 years in the planning ,170 page document etc.) the 14 are realising as are the legacy fans just what depths some of these clubs are prepared to sink to
When the dirty washing is Laundered I am sure that Manure and the scum will be seen as the main culprits

Feels like in the past if a club messed up off the pitch then they dropped out of the ‘elite’ and a new club had a chance to step up (Everton being a great example).

These ‘super’ clubs seem to think they have a God given right to remain at the top despite mismanagement and failure.

Barca should have to accept they need to balance the books, spend a few seasons selling off the high earners and using some of their youngsters (who are often very good) to fill the gaps, and come back stronger in a few seasons. Won’t happen though.

As much as I feel that legislation and structural changes are the only way to really ensure the long term future of football, the six need a punishment that goes further than just a slap on the wrist fine.
