Looks absolutely worth purchasing in the summer. He is quick and seems to thrive under pressure, quickly grabbing a yard of space. But then he immediately looks for the pass and moves it so quickly it really starts many of our attacks.

Looks very promising. Plays some great balls, threading them through midfield which other players wouldn’t even think were on or risk. Reminds me a bit of James Rodriguez

I had a tenner on him to score and us to win, so that miss was like a double kick in the bollocks.

Some players can be moved to different positions and still have a big effect on the game, but others are not so adaptable. Alcaraz has done really well played in support of Beto and I can`t understand why Doucoure who add nothing to us going forward gets the nod and Charly gets shoved out to the wing.

Have to agree. Hardly noticed him on the pitch until late on. Should have scored.

The pass out to Gana for his volleyed cross to O'Brien would have had pages devoted to it if it had been Rodriguez.

Doucoure does a lot of work. Doucoure for an hour and then Alcaraz for the last 30 minutes.
