They're not gonna miss out on the cash by not releasing them to PS.

I wouldn’t worry too much mate - MS have basically said they’re bored of the console war, and want to basically push their gamepass. Subscription. Also Bethesda’s Todd Howard have said they aren’t doing exclusives (with the caveat he also said “it just works”)

Pretty much this. The loss of sales from PS users would outweigh any potential benefit of making it an exclusive. It'll be similar to Minecraft which is owned by Microsoft - they'll push across all consoles still with a delay like you mentioned for PS.
