Shame that CD projekt have started getting more and more involved with some of the proper grim side of the industry, and some of the weird, unnecessary offensive stuff they’ve been putting into artwork and social media. I thought they were better than that in the past. Still pre ordered cyberpunk, but I’m expecting a great game, but not an amazing one if that makes sense?Unfortunately for you you will spend the money buying it and whether you end up liking it or not CD Projekt will be raking it in gleefully.
BUGS!
I preordered it before the last delay and I'm regretting it a bit now. Worried by the amount of talk about pretty bad bugs, worried that reviewers weren't allowed to use their own game footage and worried by the fact the console versions haven't been sent out for review yet.I dunno why anyone would buy this before at least March.
That’s the same with every game nowadays though surely? It feels like the first 6 weeks of a games launch nowadays is a replacement for a testing cycle.I dunno why anyone would buy this before at least March.
TL: DR
Main Quest is relatively short at around 20 hours. However there are a ton of different endings.
Side quests make up the bulk of the gameplay and can drastically affect the game world as you play it.
Open World is dense and fantastic to explore.
Combat is fun, but not very deep.
BUGS!
I'll be playing on PC, but the fact that CDPR aren't giving out review copies of console versions, specifically last gen, would be a concern for me if I were looking to play on those platforms.
They gave it a 9/10 though.
1st party games (Sony, nintendo) are usually fine. That’s the same with every game nowadays though surely? It feels like the first 6 weeks of a games launch nowadays is a replacement for a testing cycle.

It's not the end of the world as I've got other games to play in the meantime and the price won't drop much in the next few months. Hopefully by the time I get round to playing it they will have patched it sufficiently.
Good thing is that it sounds as though it's a great game when it isn't bugging out
