Computer games.

Never really got into Witcher (or sequels) as I found the combat clunky on my Xbox controller (I'm a PC gamer) but managed to snag Witcher 3 for a fiver on Steam so that's me sorted!
Took me a little while to get in witcher 3.. "little" literally meaning only a couple days as I found his movement odd with the controller.. but after adapting to it.. what a game!

took me 4 or 5 goes of picking it up, getting bored quickly and putting it down before I finally forced myself to stick with it. Really enjoying it now, but I’m trying not to do too much of the extra stuff and sticking more or less to main story. Seems huuuge

Totally get it.. deffo took some time to get into it.. but I played quite differently.. I always seem to get attracted to every little side story.. The game is vast and some of the side stories are games amongst themselves... definitely worth doing and adds so much richness to the environment.

There's a code for a dozen Warhammer games (on Steam) free with the current issue of White Dwarf: Vermintide 2, Total War, Space Marine, and so on. Not sure what I'll play out of these, but for £5.99 can't really argue (although I already have too many Steam games I've never played). If you're at all worried about buying the mag at the paper shop, just say it's for a friend and ask them to put it in a brown paper bag :p

Hey mate can you confirm which edition this is? I went to buy online from GW but there's a few issues on there and I'm not sure which number is the latest and has the codes. Cba buying the wrong one haha.

Two Game Cubes?

I'm baffled and impressed at the same time. Is there a 3DO there? I remember being blown away by Need For Speed on that.
One blue, one black, because, well, why not lol.

No 3DO, that’s on my want list along with a Jaguar (much to my wife’s despair). I try and buy boxed where I can (all the boxes are in the loft), and it’s hard finding them at a reasonable price!

Frightening when I think back to the number of games and consoles that I treated with no care and eventually binned or gave away when I was younger. Would have been very good investments on some of the stuff.

I bought my 3DO fully boxed off my mate for about £50 or so when they had started to tank. I think HMV or Virgin were selling off all the games for about £3 each as well at the time.

Tell me about it, I’m the same with the Nintendo Game & Watch series, I had quite a few of them as a kid and my mum sold them all at a car boot when I was about 12. Remember Super Mario Bros went for about £1, I re-bought a boxed one from eBay a couple of months ago for about £100. FFS.
