Been playing a lot of Escape From Tarkov lately. Can't think of many games that gives me a bigger sense of accomplishment than EFT, when I finally succeed.

Not played a FIFA since 98.
Not because I'm ahead of the curve, but I just don't normally play them.
Good mate of mine loved it so we'd play 30 minute games. After a few weeks of him battering me we finally got to a point of every game being 0-0 and pens.
Pens got so heated we ended up putting armchairs side by side and stuffing a huge folded flat cardboard box between the chairs to block controller sideways glance.
When he moved back home I just didn't fancy playing anybody else. Felt like I was cheating on them. lol

Finished Elden Ring rune level 1 last night. Joint effort with my kid, who is legit good at the game but has the patience of a goldfish - he handled a few bosses that needed skill and I did the ones that needed mulish obstinacy.
Deep into this game like. First playthrough on the final boss (Radogan) couldn't beat him without a summon at lvl 125. Then beating him solo took 50 goes easy. Can now do him at level 1 in 30 seconds no hit.
Gonna take a break - next step is tragic [Poor language removed] like no hitting all bosses no roll no run with a soup ladle. Don't want to go there.

What old games need a modern port on current generation games machines?
I'd personally love a remake of Populous.... brilliant title that.
Also another Sensible Soccer from the original programmers....
Another Road Rash game would be great.
And Return Fire was easily one of the best two player games I've ever played. Onlne multi player would be boss nowadays. Anyone remember that one?

Been playing a load of Fez.
Still an amazing game, so original and clever, Shame the lead programmer was such a tool, well...came across as one...yet he created a masterpiece.

Absolutely mega game that. Difficult if I remember... The stealth was tough but logical and ultimately fair. Boss creeping along the roof of pagodas lashing shuriken at baddies

I just can't be arsed with this game. Played about 5 hours, bored, and die every two minutes.
I just don't have time to dedicate to becoming good at it.
