Computer games.

I wholly get that, it won't stop pedants from desperately trying to correct each other though!

Outrage life!
*ANGER*

At the office we have so much actual JUNK because someone thinks or wants to try to fix some crap laptop or other crap device that isn't even used anymore for literally no reason. Now it's just sitting there, been a year.

Anyone know if these guys are decent?

Very tempting interest free Credit.....

@Baines' left foot

I think our man Baines bought his current PC from Scan, I believe they are a very decent company.

But I cant personally vouch.
Aye I got mine from Scan. As others have said they’re very good.

If you buy a pre built from then you get 2 years support. They’ve helped me upgrade my PC every step of the way. I travelled to their store in Bolton as the CPU cooler I bought didn’t fit my case.

They sorted it out for me and fitted a new one. Pity the CPU I bought from CEX was dead. Bless them, they spent ages trying to get it to post and had to give up lol

Very good company.

Anyone got experience with OG Xbox ?

I've got 3 of them (one my childhood console other two I've bought) I'm opening them up today to remove the clock capacitors, replace thermal compound on GPU/CPU's and install Aladdin x2 modchips.
A bit nervous as I've not done too much work inside consoles before and havnt even soldered before lol. Hence why I have 2 consoles incase I ruin one (not modding my childhood Xbox)

Anyone else been playing efootball 23? The fact that Everton aren't licensed doesn't matter, because Everton Chile are, and their kits are nicer than ours anyway.

I’ve just started a new play through of Cyberpunk. Started it right when it came out but only lasted a few hours because of the bugs. Now with the next gen upgrade and all the patches it actually works! And it’s great fun, really enjoying it

Its not far off a PC mate. For the soldering, I would practice a bit before doing the mods - and make sure you have the basics! Obvs a soldering iron, a sponge, flux and a solder sucker or some wick. Then, start out easy, a couple of pieces of wire....solder them together and take them apart.

Then look at a little electronics kit (something like this....no idea if this store is reputable or not - https://quasarelectronics.co.uk/Category/kits-modules-radio-projects) Then once you are comfortable let loose on the xbox!

Midway through Sekhiro - hard as balls but loving it. Huge Dark Souls fan but always put this one off as I thought I wouldn't like it, but it's like they kept all the best bits from Souls boss fights and dropped the bad stuff. Really good.

Everyone says it doesn't have the replay quality of rpgs, which I can understand, but first playthrough is boss.

Thoughts on this @Baines' left foot cant decide to go with something like this or just whack it on interest free Credit for an i7 3080,decisions decisions lol

PC Specialist are great - I got mine from there and they offer great support.

I'm not huge with the technical parts, but the Power Supply looks a bit low to me. I'd defo be looking for something stronger there.
