Computer games.

Thoughts on this @Baines' left foot cant decide to go with something like this or just whack it on interest free Credit for an i7 3080,decisions decisions lol
Looks a good value deal to me, that. Two of my mates have got the 3060ti and it’s a great GPU for 1440p gaming. Any lower than that and you’ll be best with 1080p.

The only thing I would consider changing is the storage. 512GB SSD is a little small, and if you want it mainly for gaming the HDD will be a big bottleneck. Personally I would go for a 1TB SSD and leave the HDD.

I didn’t think 1TB would be enough for me, but 18 months since I bought it I’ve still got easily 33% of mine free.

I've got a 500gb SSD and a 1TB HDD, ive never once used the 1TB.

With the fast internet we have now you dont need a load of games on the PC all the time.

I was almost done on my 1TB drive, was very confused as I only play WoW, completely forgot all those Steam games sit in your Steam library and clog it up. Managed to whack 500GB off it.
I have quite bad HD OCD and constantly check my Hard Drives for things I don't need. If I don't play a game for 24hours it gets deleted.

I am usually good but last few months I was like whatever, looked at my CDrive and was like almost capped on 1TB, very confused. I still have loads of GB taken up by "Other" which drives me nuts. Got a 4TB HDD though to fall back on.

I did have 60GB in my LOL folder once cos it was saving replays, that was a shock.

PC Specialist are great - I got mine from there and they offer great support.

I'm not huge with the technical parts, but the Power Supply looks a bit low to me. I'd defo be looking for something stronger there.
I think 650W might be fine. I had a 10400F with a 3070 and it came with a 550W PSU, whereas Nvidia recommends 650W.

Found this on Tom's Hardware.

Remasters of GoldenEye released today on Switch and Xbox. Was just reading an article about the original and there was this amazing nugget in it which I'd never heard before.

I tried it on Switch today. Needs buttons remapping in the Switch settings to make it playable and we only had 2 player deathmatch me and the boy.

Wasn't great if I'm honest. Controls were kind of fixable but was a pain. 2 players has been surpassed many times over the years. Timesplitters is way better so I'll stick to that for split screen deathmatch.
