Computer games.

The family were away this weekend so I've been playing a fair bit of Skull & Bones. Loving it - don't care about the fume over it. I mean, unlike the haters I wasn't actively waiting for it to come out for all these years, so maybe I didn't have any particular expectations, but I think it's great fun, and the combat is very satisfying.

If you PC gamers want to pick up a few games on the cheap, CD Keys has quite a lot of games from 49p - 79p range and a few at 99p

Some good bargains there.

Managed to pick up 11 games from cd keys for under a tenner, and I paid a bit extra for Rollerdome, everything else was 49-79p

Rollerdrome

Windjammers 2

The Pale Beyond

The Legend of Tianding

Spirit of the Island

OTXO

Founders Fortune

Symphony of war

Oaken

The Gunk

Beacon Pines

I also picked up an indie game that had just come out of early access after 9years and 13years in development called...

Secrets of Grindea(for £10)

No idea when I'll play them all but for the price I couldn't resist. There are more games in that price range as well but I thought I bought enough lol

Very bold decision by Capcom to have anti consumer micro transactions in a single player game. I swear publishers are just testing the waters to see what they can get away with

They do it in every game. The Asian market is much more accommodating of it, I've been told.

I don't like it, but as long as the gameplay doesn't push for it, then its fine imo.

In what game?
Dragon's Dogma 2. Other than performance issues and the mtx the reviews are very very good.
I'm really tempted by it but not sure if my 1600X is up to the task.

I’m not really going to judge the game so much as the publisher. DD2 looks amazing. Just a shame what has become the norm

My son has always just had a switch, my brother give him his sons PS4 as he never played it anymore since he got a PS5. So I got my son call of duty modern warfare 3. Do I need to buy PlayStation plus so that he can play with his friends ?

Ps plus is needed for network(online) play. Free games every month though and a few decent free games exist Rocket League, MW warzone, Fornite (if that's your bag). Also watch for the sale if you'll be renewing "Days of Playstation" or something, you can add a year on sale and extend your sub. Mine expires in 2025 and was bought in the 2023 sale.

Thanks for the reply, yeah he plays fornite and rocket League on the switch. As they don't need a subscription I just didn't know that you needed a subscription to play other games. Cheers
