I wish someone would made big Witcher 3 style Lord of the Rings game.
I wonder why nobody ever made it cause LOTR world is like perfectly suited for big fantasy RPG game.

Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War are probably the closest.
Both a lot of fun, but more action oriented than being full on RPG’s or anything.
The Nemesis system in both of them is superb though.

Liking the visual look of the ER DLC - darker.
Taken an arcane build in and done an early boss, a dancing lion thing in a good dungeon reminiscent of the capital. Difficulty seems a good level to me although it's early days - lvl130 on NG+ and stuff is pretty robust.

Good to have the DLC setting a decent difficulty level - the bosses should be the pinnacle of challenge. e.g. The Bloodborne DLC is legendary but was well under-tuned for NG - you could roll it easy on early NG cycles.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I thoroughly enjoy playing a 2007 version of a medieval point and click mmo rpg (osrs). I may even max my account before the end of the year if I don't burn out

The dog-town stadium car park in the cyberpunk DLC was actually pretty gosh darned great.

I had a go at them, seemed like you were just going round fighting various orks constantly

There was a total war middle earth edition on the PC.

First town, get the suit and clear thr town.
Killed everything. Went into every building avilable. Ran around and shot randomly to find anyone else.
Clear the town still up. Guy tells me to go clear the town.
Unfixable without pc commands.
Seems fairly common from the searching I did.
You'd think it would have been patched out of a 9 year old game.

Go backwards then, Silent Hunter 3 is still magnificent. System shock 2 is still a revelation. Work backwards each year through the top 10 games of the year. It's nearly a lifes work.
