Only Marisa Tomei.Must be a great country.
Seinfeld learned me that American women are really really into short, balding fellows. Incel heaven.
The parts of Chicago you want to swerve are parts you’re not going to anyway. Don’t sweat it.We’re starting the trip in Chicago , I was thinking of staying north of the river other than maybe going to see The Bean and Buddy Guy’s club
I’m off to NYC in a few weeks. Third time since 2015, only going for a week. Doing the beast, Summit at Vanderbil, taking in a Yankees game, and going to Coney in the evening. Does anyone else have anything they can recommend, they may be off the beaten track?
Currently playing a game with a load of Muricans.
They spent nearly 20minutes last night taking the piss cos I used the term Car Park, they had never heard anything so silly in their whole life.
Parking lot my anus.
If you want to send them round the bend, use a certain British slang term for 'cigarette' and watch the carnage unfold.
Just got back from NYC. I didn’t see as much of an issue with homelessness as I thought I would to be honest, but we were in the W hotel in Times Square, so difficult to see the obvious homeless simply due to the volume of people at that particular location. Outside of there, yes there is an issue but I wouldn’t say it is any more or less than Liverpool or London which I visited a few weeks back. Any level of homelessness is abhorrent but nothing out of the usual as far I could see and I visited four of the five boroughs. (I may just not be attuned to it)Interested to know how the homeless situation is there. Have a mate from NYC visiting in a week so interesting to compare views...
I always enjoy asking,
"Hi mate, how's tricks"...
If you were in Times Sq you saw the worst of Manhattan…Just got back from NYC. Why?Probably more of a problem in Liverpool than there
Believe NYC has the largest homeless population in the US. Was surprised as well when I read this as is far less obvious in the downtown areas than in other US cities.Just got back from NYC. Someone told me this was down to aggressive policing, with people moved to less desirable areas.
Maybe one of the US posters on here can confirm this?
Way more homelessness in NY than CDMX.it probably has more to do with the fact that NYC is one of the largest and most expensive cities in the world, although I have a hard time believing NYC > Mexico City unless you are very generous with use of the word "home"
Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim.
