I think as fans we expect to see champaigne football but this season we just don't have the players. Perhaps last season was the anomaly and this is the standard we're at.

Did you see when they sent that cross in from the left late in the half? McGeady went to man and Besic followed him, leaving Kelly free to swing the cross in.

People apparently don't notice that he does these things though, it's really odd.

mirallas does not seem like someone who doesn't care at all, he looks like a winger who is in a team who have no confidence.. wingers don't often try and take men on / do all that stuff when they have little to no confidence. it takes time to get back.
